Brendan Walsh is a Director for MU Japan, having joined in 2024. With over 20 years of experience working in Asia (Japan and Singapore), he focuses on Executive Search and Leadership Advisory across APAC.
He is responsible for building out the MU Japan business, leveraging a strong track record of delivery and an established and growing network of senior contacts in the region.

Since 2002 he has partnered with clients in Asia to help them find their senior leaders for the region. He has worked at both boutique and large listed recruitment companies, successfully introducing CEOs, Country Managers, CFOs and HR Directors as well as being an experienced people leader and sales trainer.
He has build a strong Japanese and APAC network of senior contacts across industry. Although his more recent focus has been Life Science and Manufacturing clients, he has completed projects for clients in diverse industries including Retail, Consumer, Food & Beverage, Professional Services, Investment Banking and Asset Management. Earlier in his career he worked as a journalist for national media in his native Ireland and in a business development role with a global bank in Japan.
Brendan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (Hons) in Liberal Arts from the University of Galway and a Post-grad Diploma in Journalism (Distinction) from Technological University Dublin.
