Consumers increasingly demand accountability, transparency, and ethical behaviour from organisations. With greenwashing on the rise, it is more crucial than ever to communicate ESG sustainability effectively. Gabriela shares how communication serves as a critical link between raising awareness and motivating action. However, before speaking about sustainability, you first have to practice it.
Gabriela, PhD in Economics and Executive MBA graduate, serves as an Executive Board Member of RespACT, Austria’s Business Council for Sustainable Development. With 25+ years in FMCG management (the last 12 years at Heineken), she has been voted "Best Austrian FMCG Spokesperson" by 350 key journalists over the past decade. As Corporate Affairs & ESG Communications lead in Europe’s beer industry, she pioneered carbon-neutral brewing, earning multiple honors. Gabriela’s ESG achievements, including shaping green initiatives, earned her the title "Austrian Innovator" at COP28.
