Are you an experienced FMCG leader, looking to make a significant impact in a growing international company?

Following five successful years under the current CEO, the Löfbergs Group is looking for a commercially astute CEO who can continue to drive the existing strategy with increased focus on profitable growth, international expansion, and long-term value creation.

 

Löfbergs is a well-known Swedish coffee brand with a strong market position in Sweden and a growing presence across several international markets. The incoming CEO will take full responsibility for the business and lead continued progress across the commercial and operational business areas. The role requires visible internal and external leadership, with the ability to embody the company values and ensure they continue to be a foundational part of the company strategy, culture and leadership climate over time.

 

As CEO, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Clear communication of strategic priorities across the organisation to ensure understanding and commitment.
  • Continuous development of the operating model to ensure efficient, reliable, and well-coordinated operations across sourcing, supply chain, production efficiency and risk management,
  • Continuing to strengthen brand positioning, customer value, and differentiation through quality, sustainability and versatile market approach.
  • Enabling long–term, profitable growth by identifying opportunities and growing business in new international markets.
  • Building the organisational readiness and engagement required to support long-term development and growth.

     

    We believe that success in this role requires the following experience:

  • +10yrs senior leadership experience with P&L responsibility, covering both commercial and operational business areas
  • Previous experience as a CEO or MD for an international organisation or business unit
  • +5 years recent experience in FMCG, ideally within food and beverage
  • Proven experience of leading a company through international expansion
  • Professional proficiency in Swedish and English
  • Scandinavian language capability in Norwegian or Danish may be considered as a secondary alternative to Swedish

This position is located in Karlstad. If you do not already live within a commutable distance from the city, you must be open to relocation.

Our story began in 1906 in the small Swedish town of Karlstad. Anders, John and Josef – the three Löfberg brothers – were unhappy that Karlstad was reliant on the cheap vodka trade. So, being Löfbergs, they decided to do something different and sell coffee instead.


Their venture was a success, and Löfbergs quickly grew into an established business. A lot may have changed over the years, but Karlstad is still our home. It’s where we roast the equivalent of 10 million cups of coffee every day, which are then enjoyed all around the world.
