Key responsibilities
- As CFO, you are part of the local management team and you report directly to the MD of the company and dotted reporting line to the Head of Finance in headquarters.
- You are the challenger and supporter of all business areas with focus on cost efficiency and value creation.
- Develop and implement the plant’s financial strategy in alignment with the corporate objectives.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the MD and other stakeholders to support key decision-making.
- Lead and mentor a small team of professionals in Accounting, Controlling, and Costing.
- Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with plant and corporate goals.
Your profile
- Commercial education with focus on finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is preferred.
- Proven professional experience in a senior financial leadership role within manufacturing industry preferably in an international matrix environment
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, controlling, and cost management.
- Effective communication competence and excellent leadership skills with a track record of developing and managing diverse teams.
- High proficiency in financial systems and tools; experience with SAP is a plus.
- Fluent in Slovak and English.
