Antti Jussila
Antti joined Mercuri Urval (MU) on 1 June as a Consultant in our Helsinki office, with a particular focus on Executive Search within the Industrial & Manufacturing sector.
He brings extensive experience from senior commercial and leadership roles, including CEO responsibilities, alongside more than 10 years in management consulting. This combination gives Antti a strong understanding of the challenges our clients face, both as an advisor and as a business leader.
Since joining MU, Antti has quickly embraced our positioning and the broader value we bring to clients beyond individual assignments. He has already demonstrated a strong ability to work across our service portfolio, work closely with colleagues and utilise our international reach to support clients effectively.
“Antti brings a very strong combination of commercial drive, senior leadership experience and consulting expertise. Having worked as a CEO and business leader himself, he understands many of the challenges our clients face first-hand. He also has a great personality and is a very good cultural fit for MU. I have been particularly pleased to see how quickly he has understood our broader offering and begun collaborating across the organisation to create value for clients. I am very happy to have Antti in our team.” – Niklas Sutela, Partner & Director
We asked Antti what attracted him to MU and what he is most looking forward to in his new role. Here is what he shared
Throughout my career, I have worked across sales, business and leadership, while also coaching numerous individuals and organisations. These experiences have shown me that a strong CV, extensive experience or an impressive title alone do not determine whether someone will succeed in a particular role.
What is often decisive is more personal: who the individual is, where they perform at their best, the environment around them and the situation they are stepping into. Mercuri Urval’s approach by combining business understanding, assessment of people’s potential and science-based evaluation therefore felt like a natural next step for me.
I am particularly excited by the opportunity to continue learning about people and business, while helping clients identify individuals who not only meet the requirements of a role, but also have a genuine opportunity to succeed and make a meaningful impact.
Meeting people and supporting their success have always been at the heart of what I do. At MU, I look forward to bringing my experience into a new context, deepening my understanding of what enables people to thrive in different roles and environments, and working with colleagues to create solutions that make a real difference for our clients.
I am also looking forward to challenging myself, learning new things and having the meaningful conversations where the best insights often emerge.
