To support the ambitious growth plans, we are looking for an experienced HR Manager Hungary, to lead the HR team and act as point of reference for all managers in the plant, through strategic and results-driven leadership with business acumen and functional HR knowledge to enhance the business and people strategies of the organization.

Strategic Business Partner and Operational Expert

  • You support the Plant Manager and the local leadership in all HR topics, acting as a Business Partner
  • You implement global and local HR strategies, policies, processes and tools, in partnership and supported by the Regional HR Director; providing guidance to the leadership in the daily application of these
  • You support the planning and execution of strategic HR projects, based on corporate and local strategies and goals
  • You manage the GDPR related issues, working closely with the IT department, supported by the external DPO, guaranteeing the compliance to GDPR by the Hungarian company; you also support audits in personnel matters
  • You provide regular reports to the Regional HR Director, to the HQ, to the Plant Manager, to the local management proactively informing about HR management in the plant and potential issues to be handled, offering solutions
  • You prepare the HR budget in cooperation with the Plant Manager and Finance Manager, monitoring the HR KPIs
  • You manage the entire HR life cycle, supported by the HR team, providing guidance in workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, identifying risks, managing recruitment processes, coordinating the planning of training and development activities, developing programs for the retainment of employees
  • You lead and develop a team of HR specialists towards the achievement of the HR objectives
  • You spend an important part of work time on the shop floor, resolving complex employee related issues, providing guidance for leaders in legal employment matters to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance
  • You challenge the organizational structure and propose proactively changes for improvements

A proactive HR leader with a strategic mindset

  • You graduated in HR Management or have a post graduate M.A. in HR Management or in another relevant field
  • You have at least 3-4 years of experience as an HR Manager, operating at a multinational manufacturing company, in a complex working environment
  • You have experience in leading a HR team, with the ability to develop, coach and mentor your team
  • You are a proactive and result oriented decision maker and problem solver with a strategic mindset
  • You have a collaborative working style, with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • You have strong knowledge about recruitment processes and the Hungarian labour law
  • You are proficient in MS Excel, Word and HR systems
  • You are fluent in English
