In an interview, Univ.-Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Susanne Kalss, LL.M. (Florence) provides an insight into the foundation system in Austria, its advantages and draws a comparison with other countries. The evening will be hosted by Mag. Doris Hofmeister, Board & CEO Practice Lead Austria.

Univ.-Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Susanne Kalss, LL.M. (Florenz) has been working as a university professor and board member at the Institute for Corporate Law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business since 2003. From 2000 to 2003 she was a professor of private law at the University of Klagenfurt. Her work focuses on corporate, capital market and foundation law as well as business-related private law. She also heads the executive seminar program "Governance Excellence" at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.

She is the editor of the magazine "Der Gesellschafter (GesRZ)", editor of the book "Handbuch für denaufsicht" and author of several standard works on corporate and capital market law.

Univ.-Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Susanne Kalss, LL.M. (Florence) organizes the annual Supervisory Board Day at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. On February 27, 2025, more than 400 experts from science and practice discussed current issues for the Executive Board and Supervisory Board.
