Rainer Schmoldt, based in Düsseldorf, is a member of Mercuri Urval's Mechanical Engineering Sector Group, Technology Sector Group as well as the Paper and Packaging Industry Group, where he concentrates on international companies. Rainer focuses on Executive Search, Coaching, Talent Management and Outplacement Advisory.
Prior to joining Mercuri Urval, Rainer was Managing Director of VPF, a specialised company producing self-adhesive label stock materials. He previously was active as Key Account Manager and Product Manager in Jackstädt, today Avery Dennison, the global leader in self-adhesive papers and films. Rainer started his career in the Swiss Sihl Group as Product Manager for pre-print products. In all his positions, people and people management were an important part of the job. Additionally, he was responsible for the development of strategies, operating in the market as well as financial issues.
Rainer earned his Master's in Economics at the University of Cologne and is fluent in English and German.
