Jakob Westh, based in Copenhagen, works with the public sector and focuses on recruitment of executives and leadership development. Jakob works with government agencies, municipalities and organisations in the educational and non-governmental sectors. He is also the team leader of the public consultants based in Copenhagen.
Jakob joined Mercuri Urval in 2004 and made a career change in 2012 when he became a leader for HR Development in the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR). His work in DR involved the development of HR tools and strengthening the leadership capabilities in the organisation. In 2015 Jakob returned to Mercuri Urval.
Jakob is an external lecturer at Copenhagen Business School where he teaches strategy, organisation and leadership. In addition to these areas of expertise, he has developed the course 'the perfect match - how difficult is it to recruit properly' for graduate students at Copenhagen Business School. Jakob is furthermore an expert in project management theory.
Jakob earned an MSc in Political Science at the University of Aarhus and in addition to this has earned a graduate diploma of business certification part one.
