Hansjörg Mierke started his career at Mercuri Urval in Düsseldorf in 2000. He heads the Düsseldorf office with three other colleagues. Since joining the company, Hansjörg has focused on industry, production and manufacturing, automotive, and transport and logistics. In 2010 he took over the national leadership of the sector group machine and plant engineering. Hansjörg has many years of experience in executive search, professional recruitment as well as assessment solutions, coaching and board evaluation for top executives, both at national and international level. He also supports companies in organisational development.
Previously, for more than ten years, Hansjörg has held various executive responsibilities in an internationally operating plant construction company that produced turn-key plants for the energy sector. In his former roles he spent several periods abroad due to his international client portfolio.
Hansjörg is an active member of the VDI and the Bundesvereinigung Logistik e.V. (BVL). Here he maintains close partnerships with decision-makers. As part of his continuing education in coaching, Hansjörg joined the International Coaching Federation ICF in 2016. Through his profound knowledge he supports many companies in change and development processes.
Hansjörg is a graduate engineer (RWTH Aachen) and speaks German and English fluently.
