Mette Højborg joins MU as a consultant, based at our office in Aarhus Ø. Mette joins our firm with many years of top management experience from municipalities and semi-public organisations.

She has, among other things, served as Director for Culture, Business and Labor Market in Holstebro Municipality, interim director at Business Region Midtjylland, and CEO at Children's Capital A/S. Additionally, she has extensive experience on various boards. Consequently, Mette brings significant experience from both private and public sectors and a vast network that will greatly benefit MU’s clients.

"With Mette's recruitment, we are adding a competent advisor with extensive management experience to our team. We have high expectations that Mette, with her network, leadership experience, and expertise in strategic development, organisational development, merger and change management, political advice, and especially cross-sector partnerships, will be a valuable addition to our many clients in both the public and private sectors," says Carsten Gløvermose Nielsen, Team Leader at Mercuri Urval Denmark.

"It’s been many years since I got my first leadership job, and as a leader over the years, I have periodically experienced how much it means to get a boost of energy, have one's practice challenged, and receive assistance in regaining footing or recruiting precisely the right employee or leader that my organisation needed, from skilled, experienced, warm, and wise consultants. I am therefore incredibly happy to have the opportunity to be one of those sitting on the other side of the table and, in collaboration with a very strong team of skilled colleagues at MU, to create value for many exciting people," says Mette Højborg.

"Both the public and private sectors are characterised by ever-increasing demands and expectations, and it is more important than ever to attract and, crucially, develop the best candidates. At MU, we are aware that the demands on us as a consulting firm are consequently increasing, which is why we are working on several strategic initiatives to make ourselves even more relevant in the market - including leveraging our international profile and our knowledge of both the private and public sectors. This strategy aligns naturally with Mette's extensive leadership experience, so we really look forward to having her on board," continues Carsten Gløvermose Nielsen.

Mette Højborg's first working day at the Aarhus Ø office is on November 15, and she can still be reached via her mobile number 4018 2202.
