Konark Sharma is a Consultant based in Pune, India and brings 20 years of solid professional experience. His focus is on Business Development and Account Management in South Asia, APAC & Middle East markets. His expertise spans across International Business, Executive Search, Leadership Assessment, Capability Reviews, Coaching, Organisational Development, and Assessment Solutions.
Prior to Mercuri Urval, Konark was Global Head of Learning, Talent, and Leadership Development for a global workforce of 3000 experts at CACTUS Communications, a global science-tech company offering technology solutions. Earlier, he was a Senior Consultant with a leading global talent consulting firm providing deep people insights to predict and drive workforce performance. He has also worked as Manager of OD, Training & Consulting practice with another leading international Organisation Learning & Development company. He started his career with Wipro BPO leading Talent & Transformation projects before joining a Sports focused Start-up as part of the founding team.
He has often been invited as visiting faculty to the Department of Management Studies at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Konark is a Pro Bono Teaching Volunteer for The St. Teresa Home for orphaned and underprivileged children. He is also a Pro Bono Fund Raising Volunteer for The Poona Blind Men's Association.
Konark holds a Master of Arts, Sociology (Major - Organisation Behaviour) from Bombay University, India. And he is fluent in English and Hindi.
