Chris Enrico Petersen
We are happy to welcome Chris Enrico Petersen to our Aarhus office as a new consultant on 1 August 2026. Chris holds a master’s degree in political science from Aarhus University, specialising in international politics. He has supplemented his education with an HD in public leadership, various leadership programmes and certifications in personality assessment tools.
Chris joins us from a position as Director and Partner at MUUSMANN A/S. For almost 30 years, he has worked as a consultant in different consultancy firms, supporting municipalities, regions and government departments. His assignments have taken him across Denmark, the Nordic region and internationally.
As a consultant, Chris has focused on the public sector. He finds it highly meaningful to contribute to the development of the welfare society through leadership development, analyses and recruitment. Since 2017, he has specialised in recruitment at top executive and director level in the public sector, in the NGO sector and in cultural institutions, combined with leadership development and coaching. Chris is a well-known and respected advisor in a large number of organisations.
“We in Aarhus are very pleased to welcome Chris on board. He brings a rare combination of deep experience in public-sector executive recruitment, analysis and leadership development - and a strong understanding of the organisations we advise. We are confident that Chris will be a great asset to our clients and to MU.” - Carsten Gløvermose Nielsen, Team Director MU Denmark
Chris also looks forward to joining MU and contributing his experience to the team:
“I am looking forward to becoming part of MU and starting at the Aarhus office on 1 August 2026. My impression of MU as a value-based and value-creating organisation with a strong international brand and a focus on high-quality products is highly motivating to me, and that impression has been confirmed through the conversations I have already had with both employees and decision-makers in MU. I am very grateful to become part of the team and to contribute with what I bring. I am looking forward to it.”
Privately, Chris lives in Åbyhøj in the western part of Aarhus. He is married to Charlotte, who is Head of Labour Market and Citizen Services in Ikast-Brande Municipality. Chris is a frequent user of Aarhus’ cultural scene, and when time allows, he enjoys going to his summer house in Skagen, where he explores the town and nature by bike.
