Lesley Abery, based in London, is a member of Mercuri Urval's IT/telecom and Industry sectors (including Energy, Transportation and Logistics) where she focuses on large and mid-sized global and national organisations. Typical clients are Capgemini, Tata Communications, National Grid, Abellio. Lesley focuses on Talent Management Services such as Leadership Assessment and Development, Board and Executive Coaching and Team Coaching and serves as an active a member of Mercuri Urval´s International Bid Office (IBO).
Prior to joining Mercuri Urval, Lesley owned her own business consultancy and was Programme Director for two global sales and marketing transformation programmes at BT. Previously Lesley was Head of Marketing for BT Global Services and began her career as a product manager for BT International. Throughout her career, Lesley has worked with senior management teams on ongoing strategic, commercial and human capital issues.
Lesley is an ICF accredited coach and has formally and informally mentored senior executives in key positions within large corporates during significant periods in their careers. She has followed them across various organisations (BT, Inmarsat, UK Govt, smaller Start Ups) and continues to advise on career direction and personal goals.
Lesley gained a BA Hons degree in International Marketing with French at Greenwich University. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and is qualified in Level A/B CIPD psychometric training. She is fluent in French.
