Sanja Hovilainen started working in Mercuri Urval in 2008. Over the years she has developed strong expertise in Leadership Advisory and Talent Development, which is her key focus area in MU today. Sanja also works with Executive Search and Professional Recruitment services mainly within Real Estate and Construction industries as well as with related Professional Service companies and associations. She has also worked as a Team Leader for Delivery Experts in MU Finland.
Prior to joining MU, Sanja worked 11 years in the Telecom Industry in various roles, including project management, business analytics and pricing.
Sanja currently acts as the Chair of the Board for Finnish Ringette Association after four years as the Vice Chair. She is also a certified mentor for sports coaches as well as a trained mental coach for athletes.
Sanja holds a MSc degree in Economics and Business Administration, and the focus in her studies was within International Business and Organizations & Leadership. She has also completed a Business Coaching certificate with ICF in 2018. Having studied in Canada and Sweden, Sanja speaks fluent professional English and conversational Swedish.
