MU Group are pleased to announce that Roger Muys have joined the company as Team Director for our operations in the Netherlands.
Roger Muys has extensive experience in the field of leadership recruitment and HR, and has held various leadership positions in prominent organisations. Before joining MU, he served as a Partner at Heidrick & Struggles in Amsterdam for 6 years, where he acted as a trusted advisor to senior HR leaders, assisting in leadership, talent management, and cultural transformation challenges to achieve strategic goals.
Prior to this, Roger held the position of Chief HR Officer at Carlsberg Breweries, overseeing global HR responsibilities for the entire business. He has also served as the CHRO and Executive Committee member at PostNL, managing HR operations for a large workforce spanning several countries and leading the cultural transformation of the company providing logistics solutions for the new e-commerce client. Additionally, Roger held significant roles at Royal Philips , where he was responsible for global HR functions in the Lighting and Consumer Electronics divisions.
Earlier in his career, Roger worked at GE in various roles, including HR Director for GE Corporate Financial Services and European Labor Lawyer for GE Plastics Europe and GE Corporate . Throughout his career, Roger has demonstrated expertise in HR strategy, change management, business transformations, labor law, mergers and acquisitions, and international HR leadership.
Roger combines strategic insight and industry knowledge to align talent with clients' long-term goals. With a keen eye for talent and a background in change management, he ensures successful matches and fosters positive work cultures. His global perspective and legal expertise enhance precision, making him a trusted advisor in executive placements.
Roger also has a deep understanding of leadership, talent management, and cultural transformation challenges, enabling him to assist organisations in achieving their strategic goals. His diverse experience in different industries and roles also indicates his adaptability and ability to navigate complex HR operations on a global scale.
With Roger Muys we have won an experienced Leadership Consultant and an highly skilled HR Leader to lead and grow our Dutch Team. The combination of Rogers expertise in management, consulting and leadership is an excellent basis to further strengthen and develop the Main Office Amsterdam with all our existing great colleagues and new ones to join.
